Khatu Shyam Ji Poshak - Buying Guide

Khatu Shyam ji, worshipped as Shyam Baba and the Haare ka Sahara, is lovingly dressed in bright, festive poshak. Our Khatu Shyam ji dresses are handcrafted with gota patti, zari and stone work, and come as single fancy dresses or designer sets of 2 so you always have a fresh vastra ready.

Choosing a Shyam Baba dress

  • Size: measure your idol from base to head and compare it with the size shown in the listing.
  • Colour: red, pink and yellow are popular for Ekadashi and the Phalgun mela; green suits everyday seva.
  • Care: spot-clean gently and store folded in a soft cloth bag to protect the stone work.

Pair the poshak with a pooja cloth for the chowki and fresh shringar. Free delivery across India.

How to Choose the Right Dress Size

Deity dresses are made to fit the height of the idol, so a quick check before ordering makes sure the poshak sits perfectly.

  • Measure the idol: measure your murti from the base to the top of the head and compare it with the idol size or size number in the product title.
  • Check the set: many listings are sets of 2 or 3, so you can change the vastra for different days and festivals.
  • Between two sizes? A slightly larger dress is usually easier to adjust than one that is too small.
  • Still unsure? Call us on +91 97177 19995 and we will help you choose.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these deity dresses handmade?

Most of our deity dresses are handcrafted with gota, zari, lace and stone work. Because they are made by hand, small differences in colour and work from the photos are normal and make each piece unique.

How should I care for the dress?

Spot clean gently, or hand wash in cold water without soaking the stone or zari work, and dry in the shade. Store the poshak folded in a soft cloth bag between uses.

Is delivery free?

Yes. Delivery is free all over India. Orders are usually packed within 1-2 business days and delivered in about 3-5 business days.

Is Cash on Delivery available?

No. Cash on Delivery is currently not available. Please pay securely online at checkout. New customers get 10% off their first order, applied automatically.

Can I return a dress?

You can request a return within 5 days of delivery if the dress arrives damaged, defective or different from what you ordered, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. Worn or washed items cannot be returned. See our Refund Policy for details.
